Billy Stein has been actively involved in construction and development since the 1970’s. A second-generation builder, Billy developed an early passion for the industry while working with his father, Donald Stein, on projects throughout Long Island, New Jersey and beyond.
While the industry has changed a lot in the years and decades since, the core principles and values Billy adopted during those formative years remain the foundation of WRS’ ethos today: an uncompromising commitment to quality, an unwavering belief that every challenge has a solution, and the conviction that real estate is, at its essence, about people: in the personal relationships formed along the way and in the spaces that serve as the setting for every aspect of people’s lives – where the work, live, and play.
Prior to launching WRS Associates, Mr. Stein was a managing partner at S/A Associates where successfully managed projects ranging from multi-family residential to commercial and hotel properties.
Billy is an active board member of both Camp Vacamas and Hands In 4 Youth, non-profit organizations that provide quality summer camp experiences for inner city children.
While not working or volunteering his time to the various organizations in which he’s involved, Billy enjoys sailing on the Long Island Sound off the coast of his native Port Washington, NY.
