Set directly above the F-train subway station on Carroll Gardens’ bustling Smith Street, this 65,000 SF, mixed-use, ground-up project presented a series of unique challenges, both from an entitlements perspective and a constructability perspective. Recognizing the rare opportunity to develop arguably the neighborhood’s most prominent corner, WRS worked with a skilled team of engineers, architects and land-use attorneys to bring this project to reality, resulting in a triumphant success and a building that remains a de-facto landmark of the neighborhood to this day.
